About this tool
I use the GPT and Claude API’s all the time but I find it hard to understand how much an individual prompt costs. For example...how much is a 1,433 token prompt if the model costs $0.003/1000 tokens?
I wanted a full picture of how much a prompt costs so I could save money and budget well.
This tool calulates the number of tokens required for a given prompt, and explores the cost tradeoffs between various AI models. Please note that this uses the OpenAI Tokenizer library, so other models will have different exact token counts.
